Interesting stuff out of Omaha

New Nebraska-Omaha athletic director Trev Alberts didn’t take long to start thinking big. The Omaha World Herald has a story on Alberts’ view for the future, which includes Omaha making the Division I leap.

The Omaha World Herald also touches on Digger Anderson and Bobby Stroup. Anderson, who was an assistant at University of Mary, is now with Nebraska-Omaha as a defensive line coach. Stroup, who was dismissed from UND after some bouts with the law, is now at Nebraska-Omaha. Anderson discusses Stroup, who was a redshirt freshman during Digger’s senior year with the Sioux. The story also mentions that Anderson might like to come back to UND as his coaching career progresses.
